Large Breast Massage
Breast massage as a method of natural breast health has
been used for centuries as a means of stimulating breast
tone, pliability, circulation, firmness, and relaxation.
The Benefits of Regular Massage on Large Breasts
Lifting - Stimulation can help keep the connective tissue
and pectoralis muscles in good health, which can improve
the bodies natural breast support. On average, 50% of the
breast sits over the pectoralis muscle and the rest over
the other muscles of the chest wall.
Relief & Relaxation - For women who live with large breasts,
breast massage therapy can help to relieve much of the pain
and tension that their size burdens them with. As with all
massages, relaxation is an added benefit of breast massage
therapy.
Reduction of Swelling and Tightness - Breast massage can
help ease the swelling that may be present as a young girl
grows her large chest during the onset of puberty. Young
women may not have strong or fully developed pectoralis
muscles, therefore regular breast massage is very important
for these often ignored areas.
Increase Lymph System Health - The arterial blood supply
to the breasts is derived from the internal thoracic artery,
lateral thoracic artery, thoracoacromial artery, and posterior
intercostal arteries. Stimulation of the surrounding nerve
endings has been documented to increase blood flow and circulation
through these arteries.
Breast Massage Technique
After removing your bra, rest your back on a bed or soft
surface. Straighten one arm and raise that arm over your
head, allowing it to rest on the soft material.
Next, using the fingers of your hand, gently stimulate
the right nipple by gently rubbing or squeezing it. This
will trigger the release of the hormone oxytocin and increase
lymph drainage throughout the breast.
After stimulating the nipple for a few minutes, grasp the
lower portion of the breast. Using a pumping action, squeeze
and release the breast, gradually moving your hand up toward
the outer portion of the breast and armpit area. Pump higher
into the armpit until you can't go any farther. Continue
this pumping procedure for about five minutes, and then
switch to the other breast.
One five minute session on each breast every night is all
it takes. Finish the massage with light to moderate kneading
and squeezing strokes by contracting the palm and fingers
of the hand. This can be in a counterclockwise circle around
the large breast to help promote lymphatic drainage and
reduce stress. It is not necessary to use hard pressure
or other techniques which cause pain.
Helpful Tips:
To gain maximum benefit and therapeutic effects, breast
massage should be practiced daily, as part of a routine.
Breasts are composed of soft tissue which can be effectively
self-massaged or massaged by someone else.
Massage on large breasts needs to be performed on bare
skin to achieve the best results. Use oils or creams to
help prevent friction and increase your enjoyment and relaxation.
Increased blood flow to the massaged areas is often followed
by a feeling of warmth. This is a good indicator that the
massage is also improving lymph flow.
Large breasts vary considerably in their sensitivity to
applied pressure. Use gentle strokes if you have softer
breasts and moderate pressure if your breasts are firmer.
Many women who live with large breasts find bras to be
somewhat constricting to their large breasts. A gentle,
pleasurable massage after taking off a bra is revitalizing.
Q: Will I Become Aroused from Breast Massage?
Many women find the stroking of their breasts during the
massage to be sexually arousing. These positive feelings
associated with breast massage should not be any cause for
concern or embarrassment. Massage in general is a pleasurable,
sensual experience in addition to being healthful..
